I’m Gaurang Sharma, a backend engineer who likes the parts of the stack where things go wrong quietly and get discovered loudly: queues, filesystems, rate limiters, webhook pipelines, and the dashboards that swear everything is fine.

This site is where I write up production incidents I’ve survived, systems I’ve built, and algorithms I think deserve better explanations than their RFCs give them. Everything here is hand-built — the site included.
